Storage of aluminium profiles

The customer stores aluminium profiles with different lengths and weights. The task was to produce a racking system which is able to store containers with a depth of 800 mm into only a small space.

The solution is a mobile cantilever racking system. The OHRA cantilever racks are fixed on carriages and each carriage supports a load of 16 tons. When required, the operator opens an aisle by means of an electronic control and the carriages begin to move on rails, which have been fixed, into the ground. With this project, OHRA together with Köttgen supplied the racks and the carriages from one hand. The customer has only one competent contact person who cares about all further steps..
