ULMA Construction has created new storage capacity for formwork panels by installing OHRA cantilever racks in only six months. The 58 meter long external racks with roof and clad back wall were specially adapted to the different dimensions of the plywood panels by varying the centre distances within the racks. This makes it possible to store any panel size without the panels bending during storage.
Budmax
New heavy-duty racks from OHRA allow Budmax, one of the largest distributors of building materials in Bulgaria, to store bagged goods efficiently. Thanks to the construction of solid hot-rolled steel profiles, the racks allow a high capacity beam load of 5,000 kilograms. With a frame height of 4,580 millimetres, Budmax can now store the pallets of bagged goods weighing up to 1,200 kilograms on four levels; this enables significantly better use of space as well as much easier and faster access to the items.
FX Ruch
With 22 cantilever and pallet racks from OHRA, the building materials dealer FX Ruch has completely restructured its branch in Radolfzell. With a warehouse, large open-air storage and drive-in area, more items are available to customers more quickly. Thanks to the racks being adapted to a wide range of goods, the company was able to combine a high storage capacity with significantly more efficient logistical processes.
Adamet
The metal wholesaler Adamet-Niemet replaced the previous storage concept of floor storage and low height racks to storage in cantilever racks from OHRA that are up to 8,570 millimetres high. The load capacity of the cantilever arms is 500 or 600 kilograms, up to 16 storage levels are possible with a rack height of 8,570 millimetres. This not only increased the storage capacity, but also accelerated the storage and retrieval processes and increased the efficiency of production. The flexible, height-adjustable cantilever arms of the OHRA racks also deflect upwards and sideways in the event of impacts. This protects the goods from damage.
