trigema, Germany’s largest manufacturer of sport and leisure clothing, has optimised its production logistic, Converting floor stacking to rack storage increasing production efficiency by 5%. OHRA installed cantilever and pallet racking in the buffer storage area between production and finishing, which enables flexible interim storage of a variety of fabrics. In addition to 60% more storage capacity in the same space, the new racks accelerate storage and retrieval by 50 per cent and simplify the implementation of the FIFO principle.
Auto Pièces
The French car recycling company Auto Pièces is optimizing its storage space with the help of OHRA cantilever racks and increasing the number of stored vehicles from 350 to 750 in a short time. The total capacity is now 1,700 spaces. Thanks to the racks, cars can be stacked on top of each other and still be kept directly accessible. Auto Pièces relies on sustainable recycling management, recycles an average of 98 percent of the weight of a used vehicle and has over 120,000 tested used parts in stock. The new racks make handling easier, prevent damage and thus significantly increase the efficiency of vehicle recycling.
Gaigher + Penn
Gaigher + Penn, a specialist dealer in building materials for roofs and façades, has replaced the previously used, partly welded sheet metal racks with five 18-metre-long cantilever racks from OHRA. Made of hot-rolled, solid walled steel profiles, the racks offer both more load-bearing capacity and an increase in storage capacity, as well as significantly more safety for the employees. In addition, the integrated roof construction protects the goods from the weather. This means that the company can now flexibly stock an even larger range of products for its customers in the same space.
Autozlom
Instead of simply stacking them on the floor, the car recycler Legalny Autozłom now stores end-of-life vehicles in robust cantilever racks from OHRA: The European market leader for cantilever racking offers robust cantilever racking for vehicles and vehicle parts especially for recycling companies and towing services. At Legalny Autozłom, there is now room for twice as many vehicles in the same space as with the previous floor storage. In addition, the storage system now allows direct access to individual vehicles and creates more order in the storage area overall.
Eduardo
In Northern Spain, the auto salvage company Desguaces Eduardo has considerably extended its capacities for storing old vehicles, with cantilever racking from OHRA.
